Research Interest

  1. Studying host-virus interactions leading to expanding understanding of mechanisms of viral pathogenesis and identification of targets of antiviral intervention.
  2. Exploring antiviral vaccine platforms based on virus like particles and self-assembling biomolecules.

Our laboratory currently focuses on studying molecular crosstalk between host and viral proteins with respect to single stranded positive sense RNA viruses, Dengue virus and SARS-CoV-2.
