Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi confered Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize to Dr. Suvendra Nath Bhattacharyya of Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata on 28th Feb 2019. Dr. Suvendra Nath Bhattacharyya won the Award in 2016 in Biological Sciences. Dr Bhattacharyya has made outstanding contributions in the regulation of miRNA activities in mammalian immune and cancer cells, which have potential therapeutic applications.
