Research Focus

To study the molecular mechanisms of CML in cell cycle phases on the generation of ROS, oxidative stress, activations of transcription factors, receptors, gene expression, cell migration and invasion, tumor suppressor genes and oncogenes, DNA damage and repair, cell cycle regulation, apoptosis utilizing signal transduction pathways such as MAPK/ERKs/JNKs/Akt/PI-3K metabolic disorders including microarray analysis, real time RT-PCR, protein and gene sequencing etc. for characterizations and to standardize the redox regulation of cancer cells in in vitro and in vivo model.

Research Interest

Understanding the molecular mechanisms behind leukemia:

  • Interactions between various blood cancer-related variables and pathways.
  • The function of transcription factors and the signaling network in controlling blood malignancy.
  • The molecular mechanism of CML using natural compounds.
  • Role of oxidative and nitrosative stress in CML.
  • Identifying pharmacological agents and their mode of action in CML.
  • Phytocompounds as anticarcinogenic potential medication using an in silico experiment.
